RE: Myers Briggs & Taylor
Peter Ogland asked for my view on Taylor's (Jungian) type. I have no idea
and could only guess. Taylor is much maligned. We should remember he taught
us about the importance of method. While it is true he put control of method
in the hands of an expert who instructed the worker and today we would want
control with the worker, we should acknowledge his work for the immense
value it brought (focus on method). He was a man of his time. If he had said
to Schmidt 'you should know about method and control your own work' people
would have thought him a lunatic.
