Hello to all in the DEN. I believe Dr. Deming viewed the 14 Points as
something for Western Management. I remember in the handout materials from
the 4 Day Seminar that an asterisk would be placed to the title and the note
would read "For Western Management" or words to that effect. Ron Moen had a
conversation with Dr. Kano and showed him the 14 Points. From my memory of
the conversation with Ron, Dr. Kano replied, "It seems that Dr. Deming is
proposing a humanistic philosophy." From this I derived that the JUSE was
not familiar with the 14 points.

Ron, anything you could add to clarify would be appreciated.
