PDSA, PDCA, SPDA, etc

As a rookie thinker, here are my thoughts on PDSA, PDCA, SPDA, etc.

Observe, Hypothesize, Study, Plan, Do, Check, Act  (OHSPDCA)

First we have to observe something. We make a hypothesis, and then study
about our observation and hypothesis. After studying, we make a plan to test
the hypothesis, "do" the plan, check the results, and act accordingly.

I suppose "study" could include the hypothesis (OSPDCA).

I think PDSA, PDCA, and SPDA are all missing "Observe" and "Hypothesize."

Maybe they are implied?
