Good afternoon to all on the DEN. Jim Clauson has been kind enough to place
a link to several articles on PDSA. Ian Bradbury's PPT slides are there for
a presentation that he did on PDSA and PDCA. Ron Moen and I wrote a brief
history on the Evolution of PDSA. 

Also on this site is a PDF file by Dr. Clayton Christensen on Practice and
Malpractice in Business Research. Deming used to get very upset with the
Business School folks. Clayton is basically saying that his colleagues
participate in Plan-Do-Study-Publish with a few examples that fit their
theory in use. This is an excellent paper on theory building. I have also
attached some PPT slides that connect the PDSA idea to Christensen's
Descriptive Model and Normative Models for theory building.
