FW Taylor and WE Deming

 Any conversation/comparison of Scientific Management and the System of Profound Knowledge should include something along these lines.
 
The first sentence of chapter 1 of Taylor's Principles of Scientific Management states:
 
"THE principal objective of management should be to secure the maximum prosperity for the employer, coupled with the maximum prosperity for each employee."
 
Now fundatmentally, I think these two guys are at least on the same plane.
