The graphic of Ben's run chart for the first three weeks is a mock up
but is a good representation of the actual run chart Ben created as he
monitored his learning during his first three weeks in the school.

Apart from this I agree with much of JDK's response. 

he run charts that the students created were how we knew that their
knowledge of number facts had reached a state of statistical control. At
that stage they moved to occasional checking rather than continuing with
daily practice.
