Colleagues –
   Another colleague told me that the SUBJECT statement came from a paper
by Dr. Deming.  He recalled it as "the Butterfly paper," and could give no
further detail.
   I'm hopeful some "DEN occupants," more Deming scholars than I, can pro-
vide the source of this quote, and, if Dr. Deming's, the paper of other
publication from whence it came.
   Thanks for your help with tracking down what seems to be a logical and
useful concept.  Optomistic example: with now 300,000,000 million of us in
the U.S., think what 17,320 people of like-mind people can accomplish?
