Hi all,
I was trying to make the point that a company's main reason for
existence (where shares are issued) is to give the best possible return
to shareholders.
To do this, they will need to continually improve performance, and a
subset of this is to reward (and treat) workers fairly, so that they
want to come in to work 5 days a week, and want to do the best job they
can.
This might mean addressing the difficult question of how to reward
employees that "go the extra mile".
I am not that concerned with previous quotes and statements, I was
proposing another way to look at it.
Bob
