Martin,

There are many 'Sales Performance' metrics which you _could_ monitor. Though
in my own experience I have only found a couple that were any real value.
However, before you start jumping into what you _could_ measure I suggest
you think carefully about purpose. Consider this question: "What are you
going to do with the answer?"

When you have a concrete (i.e. not vague or abstract) answer to the
question, the appropriate metric will reveal itself to you.
