I also  think it is time to wrap this up. I have seen many emotional responses
to my posts, but no evidence from the "gurus" in this group contradicting 
my proof that Six Sigma theory is built upon a solid statistical foundation--
the same foundation Shewhart and Deming used.
Add to this the fact that it WORKS!!!....Jack Welch recently attributed
$1.5 Billion dollars in savings at GE to Six Sigma....with savings 
like that, he doesn't care about the theory.

The bottom line, fellows, is this:
SOPK, ISO, 6 Sigma, etc. are THEORIES, not religions. Einstein's Theory of
Relativity didn't require that Newton's theories be scrapped, (even though it
was misused, big time, in WWII). Einstein had some problems with Quantum
Theory, but it built upon his theories in a logical manner, and was accepted.
Religions are different...Even though the 3 major religions of the world also
build on each other, the current requirements are that
the only "good" Jews, Moslems, Catholics, etc. are either converted or dead,
depending upon your religious frame of reference.

I agree: any theory (tool) can be misused. Just remember this also includes
SOPK.
