Some ASQ divisions invite speakers. Most speakers apply to give their talk.
This year's deadline is 30 June 99 for the Indianopolis conference. A
committee select the talks from the applicants using title and abstract
information to make the selection. 

If enough DEN members applied, some could be heard on panels.
