If those who resist Deming, or are even apathetic, have more influence than
those who are open to the ideas, then the shared social reality will not go
through that metanoia to a new reality.
If they do not hold more influence then society may go through the metanoia.
If they do hold more influence then we need to understand their reality and
try to morph it to allow a 'Deming' reality to be a possibility for them -
they then have the choice.
Ignoring them is like working on getting the rest of your body fit but
ignoring a cancer that is growing - on the basis that 'fit' is real and
'cancer' is not.
Reality does not exist in the cognition of a human. All we have is the
model for reality that we create in our mind. We have to hope and trust
that the model we have approximates to the reality that is out there.
