100% concur! Let us not lose sight, therefor, of how an infant learns (a
direct parallel to Dr. Deming's approach, TNE, pp.104ff): An infant takes in
data from the senses (chocolate=taste good=brown), combines it in some
fashion into information (brown things taste good), and uses this to develop
knowledge and make a prediction (that "thing" is brown so it will taste
good). Sometimes that is validated (reference the Chanticleer story, TNE
p.105) and the child thinks, "Got it! I was right!" And sometimes not (there
area lot of "not good tasting brown things), and discards the theory, but,
before doing so, may repeat multiple tests to see if "they weren't really
right the first time." That's how learning/education happens.
And that's where we are, indeed, in devloping/expanding WED SoPK. Indeed, if
we were not we would not be practicing "never-ending-improvement!"
