ISTM that:

Languaging can only occur in communities. If Deming sophisticates choose
dogmatic forms of speech they are addressing or defending a narrow
community. Why might they want to do that rather than deliberately reach out
to people with other realities?

Behaviour of people within a community (inclusively or exlusively defined)
is relative to that community and its joint understandings. Behaviour that
disrupts the growth in understanding of the community and its members cannot
be justified against any notion of rightness. An attempt to co-opt the
meaning of "growth" is always disruptive in my experience.

At the human level my perception of the meaning for me of someone else's
action can't be mediated by anyone else. Actions speak louder than words and
speech is action first and words and their meaning second. SoPK is subverted
by being invoked in claims to status.

All these statements are my reality in coming to Deming's work and the
Deming community. Others will see things in other ways I am sure.
