Sorry, no difference detected. The process not only can diagram the
"loop"/process, and its subprocesses, but forces operational definitions for
all terms (define "request," i.e., what are its component parts and the
relation between them and each other). It then examines each step in the
process with the 5 W's and an H (Who does this, what is the intended output,
why is that contributing to the aim of the system, where will this be done,
when will it be done (started/ended), and step by step, how will it be
accomplished. Valid for ANY system/process, at any level.
