Deming for Hoteliers (?)

DENizens,

Hidayat, a new DENizen from Indonesia, asked about the application of
Deming in the hotel (or the wider hospitality) industry.

In a back channel note he said:

"What if thru this means of communication we try to do something for the
hotel industry?

Can we do that?

I have seen and downloaded quite a number of papers and write ups about
the Deming philosophy and TQM in schools, why not in Hotels and also
hospitals?
