>>> As a new member of the list feeling my way into the philosophy of Deeming
can anyone suggest one or two books I should read to start with? I am a
teacher in an English Independent School and have a developing interest in
Educational Management. I find the statistics tough going.
Les Hereward
Roehampton Institute, London.
Claremont Fan Court School, Esher, Surrey. <<<
I suggest Orchestrating Learning With Quality by David P. Langford and
Barbara A. Cleary.
Other excellent books to start with are: the Leader's Handbook; Free,
Perfect, and Now; and Fourth Generation Management (especially good for
explaining how non statisticians can use statistical thinking well).
