In the latest Sept '99 issue of Quality Progress, there is an article by Tom
Pearson called *Measurements and the Knowledge Revolution* in which Dr.
Deming, Profound Knowledge, and his philosophy are mentioned numerous times,
including the Deming/Shewhart Wheel as the basis for the Knowledge Building
model proposed by the author, who is a noted metrologist and chair of ASQ's
Measurement Quality Division. Check it out on pp. 31-37. You won't be
dissapointed!
