Because of travels and other obligations, I had to hold this message until
this evening when I had a chance to look at the website.

Chancelloor Protch's talk was a refreshing perspective on education.  His
aims are noble.  It is rare to hear a leader in higher education who puts
education ahead of creating a bigger and better research institute.  So
far, so good.

I could not but wonder how he would respond to Dr. Deming's persistent
question, "By what method?",
