This subject might be interesting and illuminating. Please kindly try
using 'Processes of Profound Knowledge' and tell me your opinions.
Since C. West Churchman traced more than 2,ooo years in system thinking
and its enymies, the word 'system' could be with negative 'reactions'
nevertheless as WED's friend's 'body as a system' reminding told us that
'system' might be WED's preferable and wise choice.
On the other hand, let's look at Juran's Quality Handbook(1999),he
chooses 'planning/control/improvement' as three processes(chapters)for
his trilogy, with another chapter for 'process management'. 'System' is
used in the 'reliability' subject.
This reminds me one almost simillar subject in the economics that most
people using 'organizations-markets' while some ones prefer with the
studies of 'teams'.
Incidentally, someone told me that he was quite moved by Chinese version
of WED's TNE. I am few persons know the translation are with many
defects and omissions but overall WED messages are clear and loud and
moving despite the defects. This 'finite rule 4' story of a robust
masterpiece is for your reference.
