Re: Gold Stars

This is a very late for Gold Stars for its all story, little glory?

Award is an interesting artificial complex and I think it is a very
social invention. A game many players may like it or benifit from it or
damaged from it( based on my experiences in some MNCs chairman's prize.)

We can learn from WED's students' book that WED might cherish the Second
Order Medal of the Sacred Treasure and he did enjoy the related trip...
For many other people like the latest Japanese Nobel Literature Prize
winner, he refused the 'Culture' Award from his Emperor because it is a
'bad' or notorious system.(he did accept Nobel Prize).

A very quick survey of Nobel's Prize winners reveals that 'at least' 50%
of the winners don't think it is 'good'...(based on my study of
Economics winners' witness).

So whether the 'meaning' of the gold stars is a Must, or The More The
Better or Delightful or disgusting punishedments among the system of
players depends on many unknown motivations ,intentions or actors'
'stage of moral development'(?).

The glory is a story of power. Some people can be empowered. The study of
it is an important subject of organizational effectiveness.
