NO, NO, NO.  Once again, the lessons of understanding variation (what meaning 
does one ascribe to ubiquitous individual differences in sets of people, 
things, data) have failed to have been grasped.  And in the case cited above, 
one should not fail to see how a failure to understand variation leads people 
down the road of racism, bigotry, and prejudice.

Understanding Variation is NOT the same as recognizing that there are 
differences.  Your statement is an example of treating common cause variation 
as if it were special cause variation.
