RE: "New" Deming award???

In May, 1997, The USDA Graduate School
announced by press release a W. Edwards Deming
Outstanding Training Award.  The award is 
presented annually to a federal government 
organization in recognition of the completion 
of an innovative and impressive employee 
development and training initiative that has 
achieved measurable results. Specific award 
criteria are outlined in the Nomination Packet
provided by the school.  

The first Award was given to FEMA in early 1998.
It appears that the second Award was given to 
TVA University in early 1999.  It appears that 
the deadline for nominations for the third Award 
was September/October 1999.  

I was unable to locate any information regarding 
the Award at the USDA Graduate School website:
